I want to Text soemonw in New york.
can I use my 48 number to do that if I have guido memebership which has free text

I presume that you're in Ireland and your contact is in NY?
To text them you need cash credit - 25c per SMS.
International texts are not included in a membership or text add-on allowance.
Just national mobile texts.
