I lost internet connection on my Iphone 4S yesterday. Could you please tell me whether there is a problem with network. i checked the setting and they are correct.

Try resetting your network settings under Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings. Be advised that this will delete all saved WiFi passwords as well.

Was there any iOS update?

Did you sync with iTunes?

Have you tried rebooting?

Are you sure that you still have a data allowance? Your online account should clarify.
