cannot use my credit to buy mobile minutes

Hi, I have Guido membership, I ran out of mobile minutes, I bought €3 credit, now I cannot find a way to use that credit to buy mobile minutes. I found instructions in the community but when I go into memberships and select flexi data as instructed it says I cannot do that with old membership. I never had a problem doing this in the past.

What is the correct way to do this now?

As the message tells you, you can't use the Flexi data option with old memberships like Guido.

With regards to buying an add-on and paying for it using the cash credit on your account or using your bank card...

What happens if you go to...

https://48.ie/my48

Then

Flexi Data

Then

Add-on

You should be able to select the add-on and then pay for it there. If that doesn't work what exactly happens?
Any error messages?

I get the same message if I try in the App or the webpage

going to the webpage and try select flexidata gives the same message that I cannot use it in old membership

Yes. You can't use Flexi data on the old memberships.

But what about purchasing an add-on as I described?

yes, I went to the webpage as you suggested, logged in, selected flexidata and got the same message.

OK - if you can't get to anything on the Flexi-data page - including the Add-on purchase option - when on an old membership then you'll need to contact 48 support about this.

Useing  https://48.ie/my48/addons   brought me to a page where I could choose addons. Very good! Thanks.  I only have 3 days left in my current membership and I'm not sure if any unused of the minutes I buy now will carry over into the next membership, so I will wait a few days before I use the credit to buy them.

 

I wonder if they are in the process of rebuilding their webpages and it's a bit messed up now?!!!

I got the direct link from this key post but it's not obvious and I don't know why you can't just get to the Flexi data page even on the legacy memberships in order to buy add-ons.
