The charges that apply are listed here:

For 57XXX texts you need an active membership plan and cash credit on your account to pay for the premium SMS message.

That seems to be the One4All gift card balance checker number?

You might be better off using the online, app or telephone balance checkers which are free.

If you need to contact 48 support about this then see the links in my signature below.

Maybe 57887 isn't actually supported by 48 for some reason?

You'd need to check with 48 support if it doesn't work for you.

The support 5-digit shorts codes are, 50300, 57802, 57886, 57557, 57765, 57666, 53125, 57117, 50300, 53125, 57117, 57666, 57765, 57802, 57886 & 57557. Seeing as nobody here had the answer I went and got it myself. Apparently only authorized people can have these. The official policy from 48 was along the lines of try em all and see what works..... Then you'll know.

No. It wasn't one for all. The number is unsupported. You're either a bot or a shill. Apparently the supported short codes are only shared with the privileged few. If y like I can share them here.

> No. It wasn't one for all

57887 is the One4All balance check premium SMS number according to this:

SMS balance

Text ‘My Balance’ followed by your 16-digit card number to 57887 to receive an SMS with your balance.

> You're either a bot or a shill.

I'm neither, but if you don't like my attempts to help then I won't bother next time. 🙄

Maybe try contacting 48 support instead if you don't want assistance from the Community Forum.
