I paid for my second month, 2 days before my current plan expired through the 48 App and I now have to pay in again as it didn't register the payment. What can I do to rectify this?

Maybe the original transaction failed for some reason?
Are you sure that you're not forgetting that the initial payment is €25.98 in respect of the one time activation fee (€12.99) and the first month's membership (€12.99)?
What does your Transactions page say about payments/purchases since you started with 48?
Does your Buy Plan page list any upcoming membership plans?
