How to block old SIM after receiving replacement?

i was told i had a problem with my old SIM, so i got a replacement SIM, but never blocked my old SIM because i still had use to it,

Question: How do i block my old SIM to activate my new SIM that has BEEN DELIVERED??????

Just activate the replacement SIM and the old one will stop working and you can dispose of it.
