5G not working well & how to opt out of 5xxxx messages?

I’ve recently changed to 5G and signal-coverage no better. Should I just revert to old 3G plan????
I also get texts from a 50000 number and want to stop, but to reply STOP won’t send. Anyone with any solutions? Thanks

What exactly do you mean by "signal-coverage no better"?

Do you mean the mobile data speeds? 

Or simply the signal strength/stability?

Where are you located? 

Are you sure that your APN settings are configured correctly?

Text "APN" to 50048 and follow the instructions to make sure that they are: 

If you're having ongoing problems with the signal/connection then you should contact 48 support.

What do you mean? 

There is no 3G plan. 

All plans support 4G LTE.

The €12.99 plan also supports 5G.

48 doesn't allow texts to be sent to premium SMS 5xxxx numbers other than 50048.

You'll have to contact the sender directly and tell them to stop sending the texts. 

Failing that maybe blacklist the number on your phone so you don't see them?

Update: as of December 2024 48 DOES now support sending texts to Premium SMS 5XXXX numbers!
