Service is working fine for me.
Have you tried rebooting?
And maybe manually searching for networks and reconnecting to 48?
Maybe also try reseating the SIM in case it got dislodged a bit.
When did the problem start?
Did anything change on your phone?

By the way - if you are an emergency repsponder then I don't know if it's a good idea to depend on a low cost service provider like 48 as they may not guarantee the same service levels as other operators and there have been some outages over the years.... I would have expected emergency services to provide staff with a dedicated and reliable communications medium.
