Hi,

I switched my number to the 48 Network yesterday and received an email to say that my number was on the move and would take a few hours.  24 hours later I got an email to activate my SIM, but when I clicked it, it asked me to pay for credit.  I paid for 2 months credit and received 3 emails telling me about my contract, agreement form and welcome to 48.

2 hours later, I can still only make emergency calls and I do not have 4G or 5G capability.

I seem to be missing a step.  Can you help me get my phone working?

Did you successfully activate your SIM?

Is your phone unlocked for use on any network? 

Do you have a connection to the 48 network - i.e. signal bars? 

If not then if you do a manual search for networks can you see and connect to 48?

If not then what happens? Any error messages?

If you do get a connection to the 48 network then can you use any services? 

Incoming/outgoing calls, incoming/outgoing texts? 

For mobile data to work you'll need to configure your APN settings.

If you're on Android then you can text "APN" to 50048 and follow the instructions here:

If none of this helps and you still can't get things working then you'll have to contact 48 support for further assistance.

Thanks for the info.  My SIM is not activated and connected to the 48 Network.

Well, you definitely need to activate your SIM before anything is going to work. 

It's the first step after ordering/receiving a SIM necessary in order to get started on 48.

Well, after ensuring that your phone is unlocked for use on any network.

Once you have done today maybe you can post back to explain what happens?
