My number didn’t transfer - still "being verified"

I just joined 48 and wanted to keep my number, the website said it would take 2/4hours to transfer and it’s been over 12hrs. I was given a new number and I don’t know what to do.

Maybe try manually porting the number (again?)?

See the porting instructions here:

As they say, if you have problems then you'll need to contact 48 support.

i switched to 48 Mobile recently and i wanted to keep my number. my number has been " transferred " but with my imessages and phone, my number is still being verified for the past 2 days meaning i can only send texts off of my gmail account.

Why the "quotes"?

You mean that you are seeing this in iMessage (and other iPhone apps?)?

Sounds like some Apple/iPhone complication rather than something to do with 48 per se?

Could it be to do with the usual Apple/iPhone stupidity of having the have some cash credit on your account to pay for a SMS message that the iPhone silently sends to a UK activation server to activate certain Apple/iPhone services and if you don't have cash to pay for this then the phone never tells you that anything went wrong?

E.g.:

Is your old number or a different 089 number displayed on your My48 account?

If you need to contact 48 support about this then see the links in my signature below.
