Haven't been able to receive phone calls for over 4 weeks!

I joined 48 over 4 weeks ago and it's been a nightmare. My initial porting took 1 week, and since then I have only been able to make calls not receive any calls or SMS. I have been on to 48 numerous times a week and they keep placing the blame on my previous provider.

I was onto my previous provider myself and they said they released my number with no issue.

48 do not contact me with any updates and anytime I get into contact with them they said it will take 3 to 5 days for a resolution which never happens.

I am beyond frustrated at this point.

I would not recommend moving to 48!

As I asked here previously....

what happens at the caller's/sender's end when they try to call/text you? 

Any error messages? 

Is the correct number displayed on your My48 account?

Is it an iPhone by any chance in case it's some issue with iMessage or how iPhones deal with calls/texts? 

You'll probably need to persist with 48 support to get this issue understood and fixed.

The message people receive is "The number you have dialled cannot accept this call. Please hang up and try again later"

Yes my number is displayed on my 48 account

I have a Xiaomi phone and have tried clearing the cache on the dialler and SMS apps.

If your phone has dual SIM card slots can you try the other one?

Can you try your SIM in another unlocked phone to see what happens there? 

Maybe try a replacement SIM?
