As I asked here previously....
what happens at the caller's/sender's end when they try to call/text you?
Any error messages?
Is the correct number displayed on your My48 account?
Is it an iPhone by any chance in case it's some issue with iMessage or how iPhones deal with calls/texts?
You'll probably need to persist with 48 support to get this issue understood and fixed.

If your phone has dual SIM card slots can you try the other one?
Can you try your SIM in another unlocked phone to see what happens there?
Maybe try a replacement SIM?
