Error while trying to activate SIM

Tried many times to activate sim but when I choose a new number it says oops could not activate

I've been in touch with 48 today because I'm having the same trouble they told me there is a fault going on and there trying to fix the issue as quickly as can but unfortunately they gave no time frame
