Lots of people are having problems getting roaming to work.

Check out the many recent threads and/or contact 48 support.

But be warned that many people never managed to get things working.

These links might also be worth checking:

Roaming with 48 sucks to be honest. For me in Netherland, there was no network at all. In Belgium, had a network but no internet connectivity.

Hi in exact same bind last week in the UK, eventually found this assist URL

https://community.48.ie/t5/The-Knowledgebase/The-Roaming-Troubleshooting-Guide/ta-p/52179

Specificly:::

Open 48 Sim Menu >> When abroad >> Network selection.

  1. Select Manual
  2. You’ll see 2 options International – Roaming profile and Local Home Profile
  3. Select International – Roaming Profile
  4. Once selected you will see a prompt that says refreshing SIM data
  5. Look at your signal bar, has signal come through

If you don’t connect to the network the first time, then select the option When Abroad > Network Selection > Automatic. Once complete go back and reselect Manual > International Roaming once again.

Works fine in Ireland but not in the UK, I've tried everything 48 help says and the community but it won't connect. Tried automatic connection without success. I even tired manual and get a list of operators and all say forbidden except for Vodafone but selecting that also fails. 48 help is old and every time I try to chat I only ever get a bot. Customer service isn't appauling it is just none existant.

I guess that you already tried the stuff mentioned in the links that I posted here?

If it helps at all you can email support at support@48months.zendesk.com or you could try the phone number mentioned on this page:
