Poor 5G connectivity/speeds

Hi,

Joined 48 today from Eir. Ported over, apn installed. 5g appearing in corner with 1 bar out of 5 bars. Ran a test max I got was 13.5 mbps. Using a s23 ultra. With eir I would get 400mbps and previously I was with Vodafone I got 800 mbps. Any reason for it to be this poor? Checked the coverage map and I've full coverage in my area, and I thought 48 was using threes network?

Yes - 48 uses Three's network but that doesn't necessarily mean that the experience on both networks will be identical.

Just in case, make sure that your APN settings are configured correctly.

What sort of 4G speeds are you getting?
