I recently bought a new 5g handset. I can only get 4g on the handset. 48 told me I need a new sim. I’ve ordered a new sim twice but none have arrived. Has anyone else had this problem? I’m paying for a 5g plan but 48 won’t send me a 5g sim.

When did you order the replacement SIM?
They can take up to 7 working days to arrive.
SIM will be delivered within in 5-7 days. Excluding weekends & bank holidays!
If you still have your original SIM and didn't block it when ordering the replacement then make sure that your APN settings are configured correctly.
If you're on Android then you can text "APN" to 50948 and follow the instructions here to configure the settings currently:
If you still can't get 5G connectivity then make sure that the phone isn't configured to disable 5G on the phone settings:
