Hi, I recently got a new (used) phone: Samsung Galaxy S5. I haven't been able to get a internet connection at all with it yet.
However, connection to 48months/three works as I can make calls and texts. Wifi works also.
When I checked my Access Points, there was already one for Internet and one for MMS with the correct settings as suggested here: http://community.48months.ie/t5/Most-Popular-Questions/Internet-Settings/m-p/78#M337
I have created another manual Access Point with including the following settings:
APN: 48months.liffeytelecom.com
MMSC: http://mmc1/servlets/mms
MMS Proxy: 10.1.11.19
MMS port: 8080
MCC: 272
MNC: 11
Authentication type: PAP
APN type: *
However, this still doesn't change anything.
I have Roaming turned on. And I switched my phone off and on again a few times. No luck.
Help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks
Lisa

Aw man, amazing, it worked!
In my case, the APN Type was what was wrong.. I had tried many different versions, but this now made the difference:
APN Type: default,mms,supl
Thanks a million!
