Huawei Router

I got my 48 sim the other day and was looking to see if it will work straight up by inserting into my Huawei B953 router but i dont have the router to hand currently. I had a virgin sim in it previously and worked fine which is the same network provider 3 as 48. Will i need to change any of the Apn settings or has anyone else tried it. I tried it in a different router but no joy at present. Tks Keith

Yes you will need to configure the APN settings for 48.

It will also need to be unlocked to work on any network and not be locked to Virgin Mobile.

Note that 48, 3 and Virgin Mobile are all separate carriers even if they share some infrastructure.
