1️⃣ Activating your SIM


We’ve made activating your SIM easy! Follow our 5 quick steps to activate your SIM.


You can activate your SIM here.



  1. Go to your My48 app.
  2. Tap "My SIM has arrived".
  3. Enter your activation code and tap "activate".
  4. Select whether you want to move your number to 48, or if you want a new number.
  5. Tap "take me to My48".

2️⃣ Moving your number to 48


Are you moving to 48 and want to keep your number? It’s simple!


Ready to move your number now? Click here.




Moving your number is quick and easy!

  1. Log into your My48 account.
  2. Tap "my profile" in the menu.
  3. Tap "move my number".
  4. Enter the number you want to move to 48 and tap "move".
  5. Select the account type.
  6. Enter the security code you receive on your 48 SIM via SMS.
  7. Tap "move my number".

3️⃣ How to buy a plan


We have lots of different ways to buy a plan, making sure that there’s a way to suit everyone! We’ve listed the different ways below, so you can choose the one that suits you best.


👉 Auto-Renew


You can turn on auto-renew, here.


Turning on auto-renew means you will get to enjoy the ease of never running out of your plan for months on end! Don’t have it turned on? It’s quick and easy!


Turn on auto-renew in 4 quick and easy steps:

  1. Go to your My48 account.
  2. Tap "My Profile" in the menu.
  3. Tap "Payment Details".
  4. Tap the auto-renew plan toggle button.

That was simple, now you’re all set up! Enjoy everything 48 has to offer for months on end!

👉 Pay by card


Want more for less? All you need to do is add credit to your My48 account! But first, you will need to add a card to your account.


You can add a card to your My48 account, here.


Setting up your card on My48 is quick and easy!           

  1. Go to your My48 dashboard.
  2. Tap "my profile" in the menu bar.
  3. Select "payment details".
  4. Tap "add card".
  5. Enter your details and tap "save".

👉 Adding Credit


You can add credit to your account, here.



Add credit to your My48 account in 6 quick and easy steps:

  1. Log into your My48 account.
  2. Tap "My Profile".
  3. Tap "Payment Details".
  4. Tap "Add Credit".
  5. Select or enter the amount you want to top up by.
  6. Select the card you wish to use.

 Gift Shop


We’ve created a gift shop, so you can top up someone else’s account instantly! You can gift credit, here.


To gift credit to someone:

  1. Head to our gift shop.
  2. Choose whether you want to pay someone’s plan, or gift a top up.
  3. Enter the mobile number of the person you want to top up.
  4. Enter the amount you would like to gift them.
  5. Enter your details.
  6. Tap the card you wish to pay with.
