Bought eu roaming texts add on but phone is not connecting to any network..why??

If so then it's probably this common issue thanks to the stupid way that Apple do things:

If not then what networks do you see when you do a manual scan?

Whether you have EU roaming add-ons or not is irrelevant to the ability to connect to a local network while roaming abroad.
