On old plan.. can I add on so I can use my phone in USA

What, exactly, do you mean by "old plan"?

All plans support roaming in the USA.

But only for calls and texts - not data.

And you need cash credit to cover the cost of outgoing calls and texts and incoming calls.

Bear in mind that many people have been having problems with roaming in Europe in recent months.

I don't know if these problems also affect roaming in the USA.

 I've been to the States a few times in the last 12 months and despite trying all the suggested tricks of switching to manual and back to automatic, going airplane mode and back, selecting international roaming profile etc I have singularly been totally unsuccessful in getting ANY service be it voice OR data in the USA. BTW 48 works great in Ireland and UK and EU it's a super service! 

 Just NOT in the USA!

Why is there no roaming in northern ireland anymore?if u are thinking it will work think again.it does NOT work.no signal.nothing since Brexit.Its a bad service to take money for roaming and then does NOT work.bs videos and settings speil.

I’m the same. Does anyone know if there is a fix for this? I’ve tried all the manual to automatic and resets etc but to no avail. Thanks
