Receiving calls in India

Hey guys! I am travelling to India for 2 months. My 48 contact number is not reachable by anyone who is based in Ireland. What can I do to ensure that I can receive calls from anyone who is in Ireland? I don't want to make calls, I just want to be able to receive calls.

If you're asking if you can bring your phone and 48 SIM with you to India and receive calls while there then the answer is "no".

48 don't provide any roaming service in India. 

Only in the regions/countries listed here:

You can only receive calls in Ireland or while roaming in those countries and not anywhere else.

The only way to receive calls while roaming in India is to port your number to another mobile provider that supports roaming services in India.
