Phone problems

 I have a recent problem with my phone a Motorola 3G. I have a no service msg appearing when I try to send text msg or ring someone. Yet I can use What's app and email service. 

I have tried turning it off completely and back on to free it up but no luck. Any suggestions.?

It sounds like you have no carrier network connection at all?

WhatsApp and email are probably using a wifi connection to the internet.

Switch off, take the SIM out, gently clean it, reinsert it, switch on and do a manual search for networks and see if you can see and connect to 48.

If not then you may need a replacement SIM:

Change my SIM
