Phone number inactive after not using it for 3 months

I have not been using my 48 sim with my Irish number for 3 months now as I moved to an Spanish number when I went to Spain. As I returned to Ireland, I renewed my 12.99 plan but still the 48 sim was showing its a unknown number. Could someone help me fix this problem.

Your SIM shouldn't get deactivated unless you didn't buy membership for 6+ months.

What exactly do you mean by "the 48 sim was showing its a unknown number"?

Where exactly is this happening?

Are there any issues/error messages when you log into your My48 account? 

Does it display the correct phone number here?

So when I go to the sim card manager, I put the sim card slot 1, then it shows 48 under it and then it shows unknown number.

I logged on to my48. I checked my profile and it was the exact Irish number that I was using before. My credit is 5.02. Also in my transaction page the 12.99 pop up came up in my history.

In my experience that's not unusual even when the SIM is working fine. 

Does your My48 account Dashboard say that you have an active membership plan? 

Can you make/receive calls, send/receive texts, use mobile data? 

If not then what happens when you try? 

Do you have a connection to the 48 network - i.e signal bars?

On my dashboard of my48 it says my current plan with 0.00GB used and 0Mins used. Unlimited data of 12.99 Plan with 31 days left, which I bought now.

I can't make or receive calls, neither could make or receive texts. Also I can't use mobile data.

I don't have a connection with the 48 network as the bars are not showing up. Its just the symbol of a crossed circle🚫.

The thing is I took out my Spanish sim and only put it my 48 Irish sim. But the phone doesn't even realise it has a sim in it.

Ok, I don't understand what's going on so. 

You might want to try a replacement SIM.

What happens if you try to do a manual search for networks?

Can you see and connect to 48?

What about if you follow the instructions in this article under the heading "Returned Home?"?

You should probably contact 48 support for further assistance.

BTW this is what my phone shows for my SIM even though it's working fine...
