Original ported number reassigned after payment failure

Hi, hoping a mod or someone from the team can help with this.
My BOI bank account was frozen from 3–5 May due to an unrelated fraud flag (large one-off transaction). This caused my 48 auto-renew payment to fail during that window. When my bank was unfrozen and I got service working again, I noticed I'd been given a new random number instead of my original one.
I'd rather not post my account numbers publicly — happy to share them via DM with a mod or when someone picks this up.
I'd like my original ported number reassigned back to my account if it's still available. I have the ICCID of the original Vodafone SIM as proof of ownership if needed.
Could someone confirm whether the number is still unassigned, and if so, help get it moved back? Thanks.

That sounds very odd.

I've never heard of someone's phone number changing because their auto-renewal failed.

What account number are you referring to?

There's no account number with 48.

Your account is identified by your phone number and email address.

Is the number on your My48 account not what you expect it to be?

Almost certainly you'll need to contact 48 support about this.

They don't generally monitor or respond to posts here on the Community Forum.
