Not receiving AIB banking security texts

I recently joined 48. I then set up a aib online for internet banking. I cannot get verification text to enable me to log into my bank account. I have contacted aib technical department and told them that I was with 48. They said that the problem is with phone provider being 48.  Please help as I need to get into my bank account on line.

This issue crops up for some users from time to time for some reason. 

I e. Where two factor authentication security texts from third party service providers don't come through to their 48 number.

E.g.:

You'll have to contact 48 support about this.

They don't tend to monitor or respond to posts here on the Community Forum.

Similar here, no texts being sent when logging into Paypal, worked yesterday. Sending a test sms to my phone also failed. YES, my account is active and in credit. 

I just tried PayPal - the first two attempts to get the 2FA security text code for logging in failed/never arrived but the third worked.

I tried a few other services (Revenue myAccount, Royal London Ireland pension login etc.) and they all worked.

If you are not receiving such texts then you'll need to contact 48 support and/or the third party service provider.

Oh, the first two security texts from PayPal arrived a few hours later. 

Not sure if the delay was at the PayPal end or with 48...
