What do you mean by "same number"?
Is this your first time joining/trying to use 48 or did you have a working membership before?
What does your My 48 account say about your membership status?
What happens when you try to call?
Any error messages?
Do you have a connection to the 48 network?
Can you receive calls?
Can you send/receive texts and use data?
Is the phone unlocked for use on any network?
What make and model of phone is it?
