Can only get LTE not 4G on new SIM

That's not unusual.
4G networks often give an LTE connection.
And some phones don't distinguish between the two when displaying connection details.
I don't see how you can say it's not working?

LTE is a weaker signal than 4g,
I’ve had the same issue from the beginning,
I found that with Apple you need to go to sim application, press going abroad, then press manual and then press international.
I don’t know why this works but it’s the only way for me to get 4g- very inconvenient but works
