Hello I activated my phone sim, I did not have a number before, after sim activation, I pressed the option to get a new number, it told me to wait 15 minutes. But I still did not get my new number. I Also cannot find the customer care number to discuss this.

Your post is a bit confusing so the exact nature of your problem isn't exactly clear.
What exactly do you mean by "cannot find my new SIM" and "did not get my new number"?
Your phone number should be listed on your My48 account:
Is your SIM lost?
Or is you have it is anything working?
Connection to 48 network/signal bars? Calls? Texts? Mobile data?
Did you buy a membership plan?
