Can you tell me how I give you 30 days notice to leave 48 and move to Virgin Media? I want to keep my number

You don't have to give any notice.

You just move if/when you want.

E.g. when your current membership expires or even sooner.

When you want to leave you just ask the other provider to move your number from 48.

The only thing that you might want to do beforehand is disable membership auto renewal if you had it enabled but I don't think that it will charge membership to your card once your number has been moved from 48 anyway.
