hi i've just switched to 48 and want to know which sim i use , if i'm keeping my old number

If you want to port your old number over to 48 from another operator then keep your old operator's SIM in the phone while you follow this process:

 

https://48months.ie/portin

 

Once you get the security code to your old SIM/number and submit the request you can stick your 48 SIM in and it will eventually become active with the ported number. You can log into your onlin account to check on the status of the porting request and to see what number is associated with the 48 SIM.
