can you use top up credit for Internet?

My 1gb of data has ran.out and I was wondering is it possible to top up with credit and to start using your Internet eg. Facebook, bbm etc without buying an add.on just a.top up

Trying to connect my phone to web

I have put in the settings from hlep files on this site but I still cant' get any web data outside of wifi, what am I doing wrong? I have a Nexus 5, I have followed instructions to the T but still can't get data I have also turn on roma data, Help!
