Yes - some people have reported this problem.
Some people claim to have lost their APN/internet settings.
Some people may have reset their phone to factory defaults in an attempt to fix things and this would explain the loss of settings.
Some phones (e.g. Samsung Galaxy models) can lose the settings spontaneously.
My suggestion would be to reconfigure the settings to these and try again:
APN: 48months.liffeytelecom.com
MMSC: http://mmc1/servlets/mms
MMS Proxy: 10.1.11.19
MMS Port: 8080
MCC: 272
MNC: 11
APN Type: * or default,mms,supl
Leave all other fields blank/not set (including Authentication type).
Make sure that data roaming is enabled.
Hope this helps.

Did that work for you?

Do your settings definitely match those that I posted above?
Is there a single APN defined and is it selected as active?
Is data roaming enabled?
If so then try Authentication type = PAP although I don't expect that to make any difference.
What is your APN type?
Can you post screenshots of your APN list and settings?

Can you post your exact settings?
Screenshots ideally.
Try APN type = * if APN type = default, mms, supl doesn't work (or vice versa).
Hope this helps.
