Is this your first membership or did you have a membership that worked before?
What does your online account say about your membership status, next membership (if any), expiry date, mobile calls/landline calls/text/data allowance balances and cash credit balance?
Hope this helps.

What did you top up?
Cash credit balance or membership?
What exactly does it say on your online account?
Specifically about your current membership and expiry date?
Does the Membership Planner section list a next membership and start date?
What does your My History page say about recent payments/purchases?

Could it be that you have a current membership still in place that expires at some later date and you bought a new membership expecting it to start immediately? If so then that does not happen. The new membership stacks to kick in when the current membership has run its full monthly course. If you have used up current membership allowances and need more to tide you over until the current membership period expires then you need to buy add-ons and not a new membership.

Bear in mind however that if the membership has stacked then you will get the benefit of it having paid for it up front now.

If your membership expires on 30th July and you bought a new membership on 25th July then the new membership will have stacked to start on 1st August when your current membership expires.
Your My 48 page should clarify - i.e. the new membership should be listed in the Membership Planner section on the right hand side of the main page of your account.
When you buy a new membership it does not start immediately if you have a current membership in place.
All memberships run their full monthly course.
If you use you membership allowances before the end of the membership month then you need to buy add-ons to tide you over. Buying a new membership will not give you any additional allowances until the current membership expires.
Hope this helps.
