Using fone abroad,

Hi, Last two times I went abroad I buy an add on,
But I was unable to either make calls or send texts,
Can anybody please advise as to the correct settings for my fone, thanks in advance

You seem to be using an iPhone?

If so then it was probably this issue:

iPhone abroad issue

Blame Apple for the stupid way that they do things unfortunately.

It's not under 48's control.
