Texting while abroad

I'm currently in the USA, California. I am receiving texts to my 48 SIM no problem, but am unable to send any texts! I have credit in my account, but my membership has not been paid. Trying to text to an American mobile number. Please help! Thanks

You need an active membership and cash credit to send texts in this situation.
