Text messages delivering hours late

So basically, I've been with 48 for about two years and it's worked absolutely fine (most of the time) until recently. My friends and whatnot will send me text messages, and they won't deliver to my phone until between 5 minutes and 2 hours after they send the messages. It comes up on my lock screen that the message was sent 2 hours ago, but didn't deliver until now. I'm not sure if the issue is my phone or the network, but it's just becoming a complete hassle for when I actually need to be in contact with someone. My friends who have sent these messages are all on different networks too - meteor, O2 and vodafone - so I don't think it's a specific issue with their phones or networks. Any help would be appreciated!

hi. The exact same thing has been happening to me and it is so annoying. I even got my iphone checked out incase it was a fault with the phone but it came back all clear and that it is a network problem. how did you get on with it?

You should log a support query to see if 48 can sort this out for you.
