Roaming not working

I have baught roaming calls on my account,its been paid for and says its working well but Im currently in a different country and my phone says "no service" and my roaming and mobile data is swtiched on. I have tried another sim and the service was working. What is the problem with my 48 sim?

You have an iPhone?

If so then this is the problem due to the stupid way that Apple do things.

You may have to try this several times before it works.

And same again when you return to Ireland.
