I am entering my 2nd month with 48...I was due to renew my Don top up on the 24.6.2013..but as I had ran out of landline calls I decided to Top up on 18/6/2013..which I did on the presumption that it would give me my 50 min of landline call..(which may I state here..seem to eat min..it is not per sec billing anyway) I do have no landline Credit..when I try..I get the usual..Ooh..you dont have enough Credit to make this call. Why dont I have access to the 50 free landline min.Brendan.

Your current membership expires on the 24th of June and you have used up your landline minutes so you need to purchase a landline add-on - €3 for 10 landline mins:

http://community.48months.ie/t5/Need-Help/How-do-I-buy-stuff-by-text/m-p/118#U118

The membership that you bought on the 18th June has stacked and will kick in when your current membership runs its course and expires at 23:59 on the 24th of June.

Buying a new membership while a current membership has some of its monthly period to run does not prematurely terminate the current membership. The newly purchased membership stacks and kicks in when the current membership (and any previously stacked memberships) have run their course. All memberships always run their full monthly course. If you use up bundled services during the month then you need to purchase a suitable add-on to tide you over for the rest of the month.

If you suspect that landline calls are not being billed properly then log a support request to ask 48 to look into this for you. They can probably provide you with a log of your calls if necessary:

http://help.48months.ie/requests/new

Some calls are charged per second (after the first 30 seconds) while other are per minute according to this:

http://48months.ie/pricing

But I can't see if/where it says that bundled membership or add-on landline minutes are calculated/deducted on a per second basis. Is it possible that use of any part of a bundled/add-on minute deducts the full minute from the minutes balance? Maybe 48 can clarify?

Hope this helps.

Somebody in 48 explained the billing/deduction of membership/add-on bundled landline mins to me:

"I can confirm the add ons are deducted per minute.  It gets rounded up or down to the nearest minute and then is deducted from the add on allowance."

Hope this helps.
