Could be the usual hassle with iPhones when roaming abroad.
Try this and hopefully it'll help:

What do you mean "kinda working"?
Are there still problems?
Would you be able to post the correct menu path for the benefit of others?

OK - I don't know why this is.
I asked this a while back - i.e. if the relevant settings were only on certain iOS versions or maybe depend on some other setting:

Unfortunately iPhones seem like they can be a lot of hassle on virtual networks (such as 48) both at home and when roaming abroad. I've never had such problems on Android but that's not much use to you - sorry.
Maybe contact 48 support and ask them for advice:

If you get a solution then maybe post it back here for the benefit of others.
Hope this helps.

You mean you haven't tried to make a call yet or you did and it failed?
If it failed then what exactly happened?
You definitely do have cash credit or EU roaming add-ons to cover outgoing (and incoming) calls?
Could you post the correct menu path to the iOS/iPhone setting above if you get a chance please?
