Hi
I registered my sim and put in the security code to keep my old number and it said I would receive an email in the next 30 mins.I then put in new 48 sim card and received a text saying 48 couldn't send settings to my phone to go to the data page on 48 , I did that and was told I would receive a text in 60 seconds . I haven't received an email or a text message and my number hasn't yet been moved either . What should I do now ?

The online configurator never worked for me either on my Huawei Ascend G300. It said it was sending a text but it never arrived. I tried this several times and never got a text. Several other people reported the same behaviour with different handsets. I reported the issue to 48 support but never heard anything definitive back. I have normally used the Tweakker APN app from the Google Play Store (or Apple store?) to configure my internet settings. If that fails try manually configuring them using the Internet Settings thread. If all that fails then contact 48 support about it. Remember to enable data roaming as this is often (always?) required.
Your number should be ported in about 2 working hours (check the key post on porting your number for details). If it takes longer then log a support query.
