Internet add on wont work

I bought the internet add on afew days before my membership ran out, it will not work now my membership is gone, i was under the impression i could use this add on when my membership ran out, how do i fix this??

You need an active membership for add-ons to work.

It's mentioned on this page which is linked from the add-on purchase/checkout page.

Add-ons: To use an Add-on you must have an active Monthly Membership. 

 

If you buy a memberhsip your add-on will work again.
