Have to re-add debit card details

Anyone else having this issue?
Whenever I buy new membership, I have to keep re-adding my debit card details. This is only a recent thing, but it happened to my boyfriend too. Last time I bought membership, which was only about 5 days ago, I ticked the box that said "save details for next time" but I just checked and I still have to fill out all the card details again, with no option of using "saved card details". Is this a bug or is it now the only way for paying?
