I've switched my SIM card for a nano sim for my new phone, but after activating it, I no longer have any contacts. Where have they gone?

Hey Rachel

When you save your contacts they can either be saved to the phone or SIM.  If you change both your phone and SIM then the contacts are gone.

Have you ever backed up your contacts online or to a computer?

If you had an iPhone previously then you might have backed them up to iTunes or iCloud.
