Connection to network keeps droppin

Recently my one plus one keeps dropping connection to network.
It cycles from H+ to H to no bars.
I got a new sim.because the old one seemed to be scratched, but that hasn't helped.
I have also tried the sim in another phone, and it has worked OK.
Is there any settings I should check to make a difference?

Didn't make any difference. Updated the software to marshmallow again and earl days, but seems to be OK.

Odd - I don't really see why updating the Android system would make a difference?

Unless it somehow did some sort of reset/restore as part of the process?
