Many mobile operators offer a “second SIM card” service for a single number. This is necessary when I have two mobile devices that I need to switch between. For example, in the morning I use my mobile phone, and in the evening I want to switch to a 4G modem without physically removing the SIM card. Of course, it is assumed that both devices are not turned on at the same time.

I'm pretty sure that 48 don't support this and only allow a single SIM per account/number/membership plan.
If you need to confirm this with 48 support then see the links in my signature below.

Are you sure about that? A quick check and also ChatGPT suggests that that's not the case with Irish mobile service providers unless it's via a physical SIM and eSIM for the same number? 48 don't offer eSIMs.

What happens if they are?
