Text messages that costs €2.50

Can you send a text message that costs €2.50 to send and have that added to your bill, or can you use your funds/credit that you have in your account to pay for it ?

I presume that you're referring to text messages to premium SMS 5xxxx numbers? 

48 don't support the sending of such messages at all, even if you have additional cash credit on your account. 

The only exception is texting "APN" to 50048 to configure your APN settings for mobile data access:

Update: as of December 2024 48 DOES now support sending texts to Premium SMS 5XXXX numbers!

Do you know by any chance how much extra 48 charge for each message? I could not find this info anywhere. E.g. Tesco Mobile charge extra 15c on top of premium service charge so 2.50 message costs 2.75 in total on Tesco Mobile.
