I’ve recieved a message to update my security with 48.ie by 21 of April . To log in to a website . Is this message true or false

Dodgiest email ever alright. Who sends out unsolicited "Click here to reset your password" emails these days? Sounds like a scam!

When I opened the site (by visiting it directly) it did also prompt me to change password so it's probably legit.

I don't think that I received any such message recently.

What sort of message was it?

SMS text message, email, My48 app alert, something else? 

What exactly does it say? 

Don't click on any links in it just in case. 

Maybe manually go to your My48 account and change your password just to be safe?
