€12.99 is the correct charge for a membership plan.
Maybe your current membership is still active and hasn't run its full monthly course yet?
In that case the newly purchased membership doesn't start immediately but stacks on your account to kick in when the current membership eventually expires.
What does your My48 account say about your membership status, any upcoming memberships stacked on your account, and your transactions?
