I have 10 euro credit, it won't let me use the credit to pay for my plan, when I click on my credit balance it tries to get me to buy more and I have no option to use the credit. It seems to be either some sort of glitch or a sham, I'm not sure.

You can only use cash credit to pay for things when you have at least that amount on your account.
For example, if you have €10 cash credit on your account and want to buy a €12.99 plan then you need to first add another €3 cash credit to your account, giving you €13, and then you'll get the option to pay for the plan using your cash credit at checkout.
If you need to contact 48 support about this then see the links in my signature below.

If the cost of whatever you're trying to buy is less than or equal to the amount of cash credit on your account then you should get the option to pay using cash credit at checkout.
If you're not getting that then you'll need to contact 48 support for assistance.
