I've upgraded from the standard plan to the 5g unlimited plan. my 100gb (previous plan) for the month is currently used up and I upgraded with the hope it would start a new plan from now. However it looks like I might have to wait until my current plan ends before I can avail of the new plan.
Is there a way to change this so that the upgraded plan starts today?

Your new membership plan will only start when the current one has run its full monthly course and expires.
You can't start a new plan earlier than that.
If you need additional mobile data allowances to continue using mobile data on your current plan then you can buy a data add-on.
